I've had my eye on that silk velvet blush pillow ever since that top bedroom was published in Veranda. The silk velvet fabric to make that pillow is by Scalamandre just in case you were wondering.

Anyway this is the season for velvet. Velvet immediately warms up a room even when the temps are below freezing. If you are on the hunt for some silk velvet pillows then I would suggest these or these.

No JOKE - I might just have to cuddle with that bolster in the first pic, if I had it on my bed ;)

Love velvet, it's so sexy, soft, and luxurious, but also comfortable and cozy. That blush colored pillow is so pretty.

I love that velvet has really become a modern fabric lately. Seeing it in bright colors and modern spaces really makes it young again! Pillows are a great way to add velvet into a space because you can do it without having to buy a lot of yardage. Great post!

I love velvet but I just can't bring myself to have it in the house yet. Too many sticky fingers. :-)
