animal print & lucite

Now the animal print and lucite can certainly be classified as current trends. What I really like about the 2 elements are that they also can be catagorized as classics as well. For example the lady in the above pictures is named Aureta and that little purse is a vintage lucite from the 40s so these things have been around for a while. Just remember a little goes a LONG way. Probably because they both look so good. I do have to admit though that for years I have been a HUGE fan of wide bottomed pants..

Also I was thinking the other day that Motherhood is kind of crazy because one day you are on cloud nine and then the very next day you want to run away. Weird how that happens...good thing for averages.

Below:  one of my favorite thrift store purchases, black, white & red

Wow what a busy week.  I have been trying to bust out hair accessories so if I owe you I promise they are coming your way.  At least once a year I get a black & white with red accents itch.  It's been a very long time (many moons) love affair.  I love it not as much for decorating but in putting an outfit together. Does anybody else like this color combo?
