I am a little obsessed with the above little boys bedroom that LindsB just posted. It comes from the portfolio of Laura Stern. I will be on the hunt for some really good animal sihouetees ASAP. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
A few more shots from the Brooklyn penthouse that the above room comes from.

Pursuing...
the following for husbands office.
{via small stakes, via Smart Bargains, via Lewis & Sheron}
{via Lonny Mag, via modern dose via seesaw}
{via Overstock, via House & Home}
{via Horchow, via quality cowhides}
I'm thinking we will go for a very clean, masculine look that incorporates both rustic and modern elements. I just bought the above black horse poster and husband already had a few equestrian items.
When thinking about clean, modern and equestrian, I always think of Kelly Klein's house in Florida that was in Elle Decor back in 2007. After googling the images I was quickly reminded that there still is inspiration to draw upon for this project.
{below photos via Habitually Chic}
Hope everybody is off to a great weekend. I, myself am off to print all of the black & white photos for the photo mural wall. Not much has gotten done this week but progress is progress.

Tavern
My heart did a little pitter-patter when I came across images taken
by Jeffrey Alan Marks for a restaurant named Tavern in the L.A. area..
Brentwood to be exact.
The colors are perfection. It is a good mix of modern/classic and
it is neither too masculine nor feminine. Plus the food looked
really good...BONUS. Many of the elements remind me swatches I have been
saving on an inspiration board so now I am feeling pretty good that I
have cataloged these images.

{pinwheel party}
I'm quite smitten with all of the details and the colors of the party that Sharnel threw for her
son's 4th birthday.
For all of the details go here.
For some reason I just got a huge carmel popcorn craving. I'm going to have to look into
that one for sure.
Also great tutorial for the pinwheels here.

{classic}
When I saw the above on Stockholm Street Style I thought, "Now that is a classic look". I really liked it and then it made me connect a thought to the JK Capri Hotel in Italy because the above cute girl is in Stockholm and I want to be on vacay somewhere in Europe but preferably in Italy. Plus the decor of the hotel matches her outfit. I have never tired of looking @ this hotel since I discovered it a few years back...that must mean the hotel is a classic in my book as well.
Here's to a wonderful weekend!
