{flush mounts}

I need a few flush mounts or a fixture that doesn't hang down very low. I'm thinking that the above fixtures from Schoolhouse Electric Co. just may work. Pretty good price point too (one of the key factors).

Pottery Barn is really good about jumping on the trend bandwagon..as seen below with a fixture that is raw and industrial with just the exposed bulb and wires. How do you feel about that look?

I just had to add this one in because it is so pretty.

In the market for Edison light bulbs then check out Schoolhouse Electric Co. for those as well. Haven't done the research on them yet but this I can tell you, SEC sells their bulbs for a few dollars cheaper than Anthro.

I wish I owned my apartment because I want to change the lighting in it really bad. My hall would look so much prettier if i had two of those light fixtures for sure.

My favorite one is the fixture to the far right in the top image. I would love to put it in my house. I'm loving the industrial lighting trend. xo, Cristi

there are a few areas in our home that could really use a new light fixture but i never want something everyone else has. these fixtures are amazing. i'm checking out that site asap. the industrial looking fixture from pottery barn? love it.

btw, i meant to ask you what shelves from ikea you used for your photo wall? hubby really wanted to do shelves over a wall of hanging frames and seeing yours has me considering the idea. :) always inspiring you are.

I love the 2nd and 5th light fixtures in the first photo.
LOVE the Pottery Barn fixture but that would have to be banned from my house. With 4 boys - no way.... :-)

That PB chandelier is on its way to my house right now! I ordered last week after looking at the picture I tacked on my bulletin board for 9 months. I decided I must really like it, bit the bullet and ordered! Hope it's great b/c hubby isn't happy we're replacing a "perfectly functioning" fixture:)

PS I enjoy reading your posts!

I do like a bare bulb. I haven't experienced it in person. Have you been in a room with them? Is the light harsh? I love the flush mount on the far right and I'm going to go check out SEC right now - thanks for the heads up!

That fixture from PB freaks me out. It reminds me of when they pull those weird outlets out of Neo's arms in The Matrix. Sorry! I have tried to like it many times, maybe if it was a different color.

Those look great. This is another place to look. They have more than just lights. http://www.vandykes.com/category/ceiling-lighting

you are SUCH the lighting DIVA!

i want a new ceiling mount fixture in my hallway but i want a drum lamp shade. i am trying to figure out how i can do this on the cheap. in fact, went to home depot today to ask about extension kits. as always, i still have no idea what i'm doing but i may give it a try.

you know my husband hates this kind of stuff. i know, one day his eyes are going to get stuck in the back of his head for rolling them so much. but fun lights can "make" a room!
