"I wish" {an English countryside dream}

My sister sends out a family newsletter every week. This last week she asked each of us to finish the statement, "I wish". Other than wishing I were in Oregon holding my new niece the first thing I thought about was, "I wish I were on a getaway with just my husband". Of course at the moment I already had a few ideas and one consisted of packing the above and going to the English countryside.

The above is Lime Wood, a boutique country house hotel in England. It is set in the heart of New Forest National Park, just an hour and half drive from London. I would actually welcome the chance of precipitation that is so common in those parts.

There are not enough hours in the day I say.

Can't seem to keep on top of things.

That's OK though because I just found the most wonderful lacquered trays and boxes from Home Goods that look just like this and that. They are really quite lovely so I would not blame you if you headed over to your nearest Home Goods. I could think of a few friends right now that could REALLY use the them in white and black.

Also I really quite enjoy the above fabric that I ordered swatches in all of the colorways. Fabric via Lewis & Sheron.

On occasion I get emails from my readers that are coming to visit the The Valley of the Sun wanting to know good places to eat and shop. Usually I just feel like I want to direct all of those inquiries here to the real expert but without a doubt I can tell them to visit Found. The owners Kristen and Dan Alber are not only such nice people but have a beautiful shop where they have hand picked so many of the items that go into their shop. Oh and if you can't make it to their shop then perhaps a little visit here will help satisfy that something, something.

So pretty much we all remember the above picture, right? Do we all remember that a while back Jenny posted about the above mirrors being on sale at Ballard Designs for $150... which are no longer available? Well on a fluke I found the same exact mirror @ the most unsuspecting place and it wasn't even on sale but priced @ a cool 119 bones. I continued searching this very site only to find a slew of other gorgeous mirrors. I couldn't believe my eyes. Want to see some of these mirrors? Good, because if you keep on scrollin with the homies, you will see that I didn't leave you hangin (a clue....scrollin, homies, & hangin are all appropriate lingo for this post..I assure you) If and after you get through this post and guess where they are from (before you hit the below link) then you get bonus points. If you guessed from here then I congratulate you as you are one savvy online Walley World shopper. What is this world coming to? I'm sort of happy and ticked off @ the same time. I really do love small unique little businesses and don't want them to go away. Why does the above monopoly have to make it so tempting to lure in my green paper bills.
