Tres high chairs

To Shan (president of the triplet club):

The below picture illustrates that a few of these high chairs from Overstock wouldn't be too bad.

It may not be exactly the same but it does have restraining gear attached for when you serve those stinky brussel sprouts.

THREE high chairs.

I really love the charm of this home in Argentina. How about that living room with those colors and the plaid...I do believe it looks pretty festive.

Give-Away.....

Photobucket

My friend Michelle is having a great give-away over on her blog. One of my felted & trimmed jeweled clips are up for grabs and if that doesn't suit your fancy then go over and check out some of the other fun gifts she is offering..something about Anthropologie and custom Christmas cards. Here's the one she designed for our family last year.

Did you know that in Australia it is not winter but indeed summer..opposite of my part of the hemisphere. This space reminds me of the perfect modern doll house.

I don't know about you but for some reason I favored pecan pie this Thanksgiving..in fact had at least 4 slices. About the time our family hit Flagstaff, AZ a little blurp came over the radio waves stating pecan pie as having 800 calories and 65 grams of fat per slice...oh well I'm not even going to do the math on that one because I just refuse to believe it.

The above is serving as inspiration for Christmas cards.

The silhouettes that Zara is currently sporting is right up my alley...so classic and beautiful and holiday-ish.

I couldn't help but post a few more because my antique horse ironstone plates make me smile and since we are spending our Thanksgiving in the country it fit the mood a little bit more.

I know I have many notes of things I am thankful for to hang from the antlers.

Right this very second I am very thankful for hot beverages.

What are you thankful for?

P.S. - If I have not responded to you I will as soon as I get home. The "farm" computer doesn't get much usage.

Happy Thanksgiving!

"Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation." - Brian Tracy

I LOVE Thanksgiving so much. Any holiday that is focused on giving thanks or gratitude has to be a good one, right?

Well it was so much fun to particpate in The Blog Nog series that Liz over @ Say Yes To Hoboken is hosting...lots of great ideas that Liz constantly comes up with. I decided to put all of my budget friendly ideas to create a non traditional Thanksgiving table. If you want to see more about my dollar store crafts then head on over here.

Also a special thanks to Michelle for all of the photography work that she did. Michelle is not only a great photographer but a great friend. Can you believe the pictures were taken in my home when it was dark outside....that is right no natural light. All of the above pictures were either from her camera or from mine but all under her direction.

Well folks, I hope every single one who celebrates Thanksgiving has a wonderful holiday.

xx - Christina

P.S. - What is the deal with "the storm of the decade" here in Utah? I was expecting to get snowed in or something.

It has been so nice to get a little rain over here. My desktop has also been raining....raining polka dots and stripes that is. I have especially been loving polka-dots for the holidays...polka dot wrapping paper, polka-dot pillows, polka-dot plates. For all resources just click on the above pictures.

Also if you haven't seen Christine's home as pictured above...go here to see more. Her home & blog is packed full of all sorts of eye-candy.

I still can't believe it is Thanksgiving in like 2 seconds.

The particulates and messes are running high in our home. Darn that laundry room.

Need some butter....how about Buzz Light Year instead. I love finding surprises when I go to make pancakes.

It's going to be a great weekend!

I was just dreaming of a cabin right when I read Sasha's newest post. I really enjoy this cabin set-up. You know what, my husband would like this too..how often does that happen? He usually thinks the stuff I like is out there. Anyway if you don't read Everything Fabulous then you should because Sasha is awesome and she posts really pretty images.

If you have hit the slopes in Telluride..drop me a note and let me know how you liked it. Telluride is so beautiful.

Neapolitan

Loving Neapolitan on Etsy. Those covers are so beautiful on all of those classic books. Of course any set of cards would be pretty if they came in a pink box that look like that. Hmmm inspiring me for wrapping Christmas presents this year.

Also speaking of books, finally finished The Help. I really enjoyed it and need another book to keep me company. Any suggestions?

One of my favorite quotes from The Help:
"She can take the most complicated things in life and wrap them up so small and simple, they'll fit right in your pocket"

Happy Friday!

I love a a good flame stitch. Actually I love any sort of stitch that makes a really great fabric. I recently came across a few fabrics that I would love some samples of to see if they would work in the scheme of things. All fabrics pictured are from a new to me fabric source called Fabricut. Anybody else use this as an online fabric source? I didn't realize this but flame stitch has been around for ages. Apparently the below men's pocketbook is from the 1700s and is very beautiful.

More fabrics that I would consider:
