My 100th post give-a-way! Fun & excitement (at least for me) & it's for FREEEEE!

I really and truly can not believe I have stuck with blogging this long. I have made it to my 100th post, YEAH. To some that may not seem like such a big deal but to me it's HUGE! When I started out doing this I never imagined how much satisfaction I would get from my little blog. It gives me time to focus and think about life with my family or simply just for personal musings. It really has become an outlet. When life seems to be passing by so quickly the blog helps to preserve & slow it down just a bit.  I'm loving all of my many new friends that have come through this venture. We are all more alike than we realize. Thank you so much for all of the inspiration and for those that have left comments, I treasure everyone of them.

So probably what you see below is just pictures of some really cute girls. To me, yes I see that as well but I also see hair accessories that I have made. You see I used to get so much pleasure out of creating these nifty little items before there were no triplets in my belly and since I like both making hair accessories & blogging I thought it a perfect reason to have a FREE giveaway for my 100th post (plus it helps motivate me to get a few custom gifts checked of the list..Whitney call me). I will decide what it will look like but you can decide if you would rather have a clip or headband, flower or no flower, and the size. They can be for a little baby on up to a big girl like me. I guess the only way for me to know if you want in on this celebration is to just drop a comment:-) Perhaps you should leave a comment with a random tidbit about yourself. The big winner will be randomly picked next week.  Hey this should be an easy one to win with my 13 readers (ok so maybe it's a little bit more than 13:-).  Oh I'm just so excited.  As my sister would say, go, fight, win & ZAHZOO!  Speaking of ZAHZOO, if you are my sister who lives in Oregon & you leave a comment you automatically win one right this second but you will need to CALL me and give me a line from your favorite movie but not "Big Gulps huh...well see ya later".

Oh my look @ this little doll who happens to be my niece.
Photobucket

I just had to throw these pictures in because....well just look @ these darling girls.

Wow--100 posts. I have no idea what number I'm on but it's definitely not 100. My random tidbit--my five-year-old tells me every other day how giant my belly is getting. It's not just a passing comment either. It's accompanied by giant eyes and utter shock in her voice. Aren't little ones great for your self esteem? We'll see what she has to say when I'm a week from delivery. :)

How fun!! You make such cute bows! Maybe I will win!! I have 2 little girls! :-)

A random tidbit about me: I love strawberries!!! Not only do I love the fruit (strawberry shortcake...YUM!) but I have decorated my kitchen with all sorts of strawberry accessories...drawer knobs, towels, curtains, wall decorations, etc...it's fun!

I love them all! They would look perfect on my girls. :)

I found your blog a couple of weeks ago when I was searching for other moms of more than one set of multiples. I have a son, twin girls, and I'm expecting twin boys this summer. It's been fun (and good for me too) to see someone not just surviving, but enjoying life with little ones!

You have way more than 13 readers because you have blurkers like me :-)

I have 4 boys who would NOT look cute in these, but I have nieces who would look adorable in them.

FYI - I trird quinoa for the first time after reading your blog and it's a keeper. Thanks for the tip!

What a great way to get all of your secret admirerers to come out of hiding! I cannot pass up a chance at winning one of your UNIQUE flower accesories! I found your blog while surfing the net and saved it to my favorites since that first find and check back often. I too am a mother of twins(plus a singleton baby)so I can relate as a mother, but I also love your musings, your photography, well, just all of it! Like you said "We are all more alike than we realize." Yay to you for 100 posts! And here's to crossing my fingers that I win the giveaway!

Oh and you asked for something random about me....when I was little I always wanted my middle name to be Vin. (I don't have a middle name and don't ask me why I chose that as what I would want.)

I'm a lurker as well and can't remember how I even found your blog. I think you have a great sense of style and love seeing all your inspiring projects (plus your kids are cute too.) Your hair accessories are darling - even if I don't win I'd love to BUY some of them for my girls!

Random tidbit: My dream in life is to be a gourmet cook! And to learn to take really beautiful pictures. I have a long way to go in both ventures!

Your girls are so lucky to have a creative genius for their mom - they will always be accessorized with super cute "pretties" for their hair.
Random tidbit...I dream of opening up my own yummy treatery that is open late for night owls like me who get cravings after the kiddos go to bed :)

Oh how adorable :) I have also been reading your blog for quite a while. :)

Random tidbit about me: I live in Lacy Bell's neighborhood! Which is also how I found your blog. I saw a cute bow on her blog and was going through her sidebar and found you! I have been hooked ever since. Sometimes when I am having a rough day with the 2 kids I have I think... "oh wow, I wonder how YOU do it!!" funny huh? But really, you are an amazing momma!

Robin said...

Oooh, I would love a pretty flowery thing for my girls. I started my blog as a way to journal almost 3 years ago and have over 400 posts! I have about 13 readers as well (that comment anyway)

Oooooh, a giveaway!! How exciting! I've admired your hair accessories for a while now. At Christmas time I was determined to be a copy-cat and make one for my oldest girl, but I realized there was NO WAY I could even come close! And she has the cutest vintage-ey dress that would have been perfect... Well, I can't hope to imitate a Christina-original!
Here's a little tidbit about me: I collect hobbies. I collect them, then discard them! Sewing, scrapbooking, photography, jewelry-making, you name it. For awhile I was making the most awesome designer-ish custom diaper bags. So cute, all my friends wanted one, but then I got tired of it and had to move on to something else. Either I haven't found my niche or I am destined to just be a hobby-collector!

I just found your blog and can I tell you? I am in love! It's so lovely. And a giveaway? These flowers are beautiful! I'm hoping I win. A tidbit about me? I'm completely baby obsessed. I love cribs, onsies, nurseries, everything baby! But, my husband and I don't plan on having children for at least two more years.

Wow, your hairclips are gorgeous! Umm... tidbit about me... I am double-jointed at basically every joint in my body. People freak out when I bend my arms and they literally are at almost a 45 degree angle backwards. :)

Love your blog, I added you to my reader!

Erin said...

Haha, I'm so glad that I'm not your only stalker. Wow, I think I need to do this on my blog to find out who all my stalkers are too! I found your blog a few weeks back roaming through my friends side bar of blogs. You were so witty! I have a daughter who turns 2 next month and found out I was pregnant with twins due in August. I seriously lost my mind freaking out about it. I lost them at 11 weeks and really wish I had found your blog before then. I was afraid of so many things and mostly of being a bad mom to mostly my 2 year old. You've given me the inspiration to know that I would've been able to do it and be great at it. If/when we get pregnant again, I now hope for twins :) Thank you for your entertaining, witty, crafty posts. We all love them!

Briana Ward said...

Hey lady Happy 100th post! Makes me feel like a lazy blogger. I love these bows, they are sooo cute.

Random tidbit about me:
Christina and my hubby are cousins so that makes us practical sisters right? If I win this giveaway I think I will borrow Annie's tradition of collecting baby girl items (even though I don't have any kids yet.) Just so you know Christina I'll be wanting some shoes too.

Aspasia said...

Congrats from GREECE for your 100!!! I found your blog through mirror chalkboard redo too and i keep reading! As you can see we aren't just 13!!! Something for me: i'm teaching art at elementary schools, i've studied photography at greek university {tell Annie, she is amazing!, by the way}.I'm married for three years but we haven't children yet. Sorry for my english, hope you all understand me!

Um, do I get the same sisterly benefit as Liza? Do I just need to call you with my request or am I subject to the same conditions as the rest of your fans? :) Seriously, I love your accessories. Everyone in Korea loves them too. I am in desparate need of a white one...and you have all creative liberty...really. If I don't win and you get making them, while you're at it could you just remember little ol' me on the other side of the world okay?
Random fact about me:
I once took a final exam in college by bubbling in all "B's". I think I got 44%. Not bad statistics!

Amanda said...

I meant to comment on your last post anyway. I LOVE your new cabinet! Love it. I had a problem just last week redoing my bathroom becasue I didn't sand and prime properly. And we can all relate to your analogies.

I think this is my first time to comment, but I've been reading your blog for a month or two now. Random tidbits about me: I've been married for almost two years, don't have any kids so if I win, I might just choose one of those pretty flowers for myself, and I've entered a lot of blog giveaways but never won! Maybe my luck will change?

Melanie said...

I know just what you mean about the blog being an outlet. Thanks for popping in on mine. I'm swamped by teacher stuff this week, finding time to browse and read but probably not post. Congratulations on number 100. I love how artistic each of your posts is and the fabulous photography. I need to work on that. I'd love to win a headband just for myself! A tidbit about me: I've been to London, Paris and Alaska, but not California or New York City. Tourists from other countries have probably seen more of the USA than I have! Oh, and I have a phobia of gum--chewing it in front of people, watching other people chew it and especially seeing a discarded, chewed up piece. Wackadoodle, I know.

Hey Tink, did you put the Daisy food away? Be sure to check her water dish. The water is on a slow drip and should be OK. I hope I win the hair bow!!!!

I am a almost 29 year old mom of one but I am much more than 'just a mom'. You are more than welcome to check out my blog(s). I would love a flower clip. I think you are major talented. Thanks for sharing your musings, family, and ideas. I hope I win.

Dad,

Why did you refer to Daisy's food as daisy food rather than just coming right out and saying, "Did you put the hot dogs away", to afraid to say what the daisy food is? What if I forgot to put it away...huh...huh.

Seriously feeding a member of our very own family hot dogs everyday.

Yes I will check the water.

P.S. - I think you'd look good in a bright purple flower headband with lots of sparkly thingys.

Loves,

Christina (Tink)
