I've had my eye on that silk velvet blush pillow ever since that top bedroom was published in Veranda. The silk velvet fabric to make that pillow is by Scalamandre just in case you were wondering.

thought i'd take a moment while pinning all of these delicious photos to tell you how beautiful they are and to thank you for sharing them. :)
No JOKE - I might just have to cuddle with that bolster in the first pic, if I had it on my bed ;)
Oh, lovely. I need some of these, quick! xo
Reminds me of one of my homecoming dresses...purple silk velvet...aaaaahhhhhh.
Oooh that velvet bolster in the top bedroom is dreamy! Peachy perfection.
You should check out the velvet pillows from Kevin O'Brian Studios...

they look perfect for taking a nap on. I know that is prob. frowned upon, but they really look comfortable!
Love velvet, it's so sexy, soft, and luxurious, but also comfortable and cozy. That blush colored pillow is so pretty.
If Santa delivers beds, I'm asking for the one in the first image!! Stunning.
that is the color i want for my dining room! the second photo of the bolster pillow. heavenly perfection. calming and (i hope) flattering to all skin tones.

They definitely put me in a cozy state of mind. Plus I love petting them. Hehe
I love that velvet has really become a modern fabric lately. Seeing it in bright colors and modern spaces really makes it young again! Pillows are a great way to add velvet into a space because you can do it without having to buy a lot of yardage. Great post!

Been thinking about making a turquoise blue one for awhile now . . .
I love velvet but I just can't bring myself to have it in the house yet. Too many sticky fingers. :-)
