I've had my eye on that silk velvet blush pillow ever since that top bedroom was published in Veranda. The silk velvet fabric to make that pillow is by Scalamandre just in case you were wondering.
Anyway this is the season for velvet. Velvet immediately warms up a room even when the temps are below freezing. If you are on the hunt for some silk velvet pillows then I would suggest
these or
these.
thought i'd take a moment while pinning all of these delicious photos to tell you how beautiful they are and to thank you for sharing them. :)
ReplyDeleteNo JOKE - I might just have to cuddle with that bolster in the first pic, if I had it on my bed ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, lovely. I need some of these, quick! xo
ReplyDeleteReminds me of one of my homecoming dresses...purple silk velvet...aaaaahhhhhh.

They definitely put me in a cozy state of mind. Plus I love petting them. Hehe
ReplyDeleteI love that velvet has really become a modern fabric lately. Seeing it in bright colors and modern spaces really makes it young again! Pillows are a great way to add velvet into a space because you can do it without having to buy a lot of yardage. Great post!
