Well hello there. I have had the very bittersweet task of sending my triplets to preschool. It has worked out swell so far. In fact I can now see how it may be possible to get a few projects done this next year. One of the first ones that I would like to mark off the list is one of the upholstered headboards for their room. I've had my eye on diagonal stripes for a while now..kind of like the blue and white upholstered piece above. I also LOVE Grace's curtains that she made for her little Harper's room. Do you like? Speaking of liking..do you think you can still like me even though I was a "no go" blogger for a bit??? I still really like all of you.
Oh I love your diagonal striped images...
ReplyDeletethey're so gorgeous ♥
i still like you!
ReplyDeleteand i LOVE the stripes on the diagonal--especially the ones on the drapery!
No worries about being "no go" for awhile, especially when you show up with images like these! (I used that velvet sofa one last week, too - yum!)
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya though, on these diagonal stripes. They're really speaking my name. Bought a pillow last week for starters, but now I'm really thinking about those curtains!
and...she's back. ;)
ReplyDeleteanything you do will be wonderful for those boys. can't wait to see all that you do. i understand the bittersweetness of it all. oh, the emotions we all go through, but it's all worth it.
have a lovely week.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun morning surprise to see you blogging AND to see H's drapes! I am so guilty of blogging fail. I haven't blogged in over a month:( You've given me some motivation though so thank you C! Have a wonderful week my friend! xoxo

I've been obsessed with the idea of making my own version of that black-white-gold pillow. I like stripes straight on and on the diagonal.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for your boys! It will be a great new adventure for them and for you. :)
Nice! I'm liking how modern that can look. BTW, I've got a stencil giveaway going on right now at nesteaglerock.com.... not that you actually need stencils to create a striped wall ;)
ReplyDeleteHa Ha. I waS two steps away from asking about the source of those pillows. of course they are a must have!

ReplyDeleteLOVE diagonal stripes and I'm with you...considering a custom request on those amazeballs cushions- it's the rust velvet I think that makes them so yummy. Gorgeous post and thank you for the mention:) xo

It happens girl! I find I take a blogging hiatus at least once a year. You need to to stay fresh.
ReplyDeleteAnd preschool rocks. My youngest started his first year last year, and I can't wait for September 6th!!! Those 2.5 hours are lifesavers! I sound like such a bad mom.
Oh, and my boys have been hooked on your microwave popcorn all summer. Thanks!
(And I love the stripes)
These are fabulous! Have a beautiful day, Kellie xx
