{fluffy lantern - DIY}

Photobucket

Need a project to do...then why not buy 1200 coffee filters and make a sweet fluffy lantern. That is exactly what Nichole over @ Parlour did. I say it makes for a huge impact over her table. Love it and think this would also be great at a really special party. I am pretty sure there was some finger burnage going on from using all of that hot glue..at least there would have been if I were the one handling the glue gun.

Go here & here to read more about it.

  1. awww...thanks for the mention. Yeah, there was definitely a good amount finger burnage happening due to the large amount of hot glue involved. However, the blisters are healing, and will soon be gone, but, I'll still have my fluffy light.

  11. This is great! I "pretend" to be crafty. :-) I saw a smaller one if these with cupcake filters and was thinking about doing them for my SIL's shower [who is pregnant with triplets]. We are doing an Asian theme, as they love visiting Japan, and my brother works for a company that imports sake.

  14. So pretty! Love that idea! I just made a wreath with 200 filters so I can imagine how long that took to make her chandelier - but so worth the effort!
