Need a project to do...then why not buy 1200 coffee filters and make a sweet fluffy lantern. That is exactly what Nichole over @ Parlour did. I say it makes for a huge impact over her table. Love it and think this would also be great at a really special party. I am pretty sure there was some finger burnage going on from using all of that hot glue..at least there would have been if I were the one handling the glue gun.
awww...thanks for the mention. Yeah, there was definitely a good amount finger burnage happening due to the large amount of hot glue involved. However, the blisters are healing, and will soon be gone, but, I'll still have my fluffy light.
ReplyDeleteThis is really yummy!

It's too cool!
Have a fabulous weekend!

And of course I recently just got rid of 2 lanterns that would have worked great for this:( LOVE this idea. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletei can't imagine the time, the burns, the dedication!
ReplyDeletebut as she says in her comment she still has her fluffy light! so clever & stunning!
Oh my God, this would be perfect in my dinning room. (and give me time to save up for the lotus chandelier). Thanks so much for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't people's creativity amaze you? This DIY made me day..I am so tempted to try a smaller one myself.

ReplyDeleteThis is great! I "pretend" to be crafty. :-) I saw a smaller one if these with cupcake filters and was thinking about doing them for my SIL's shower [who is pregnant with triplets]. We are doing an Asian theme, as they love visiting Japan, and my brother works for a company that imports sake.
ReplyDeleteHow original! That is a great idea, love it (: I'll have to save for my little girl's room ideas.
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeletevery creative! looks like a fluffy beautiful cloud:) have a great weekend! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love that idea! I just made a wreath with 200 filters so I can imagine how long that took to make her chandelier - but so worth the effort!
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome! I would love to tackle that one day in my life!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable but if I place it my house, it will be previously white home lighting in a few days!
