Just in case you were wondering, I blog from an unfinished man cave in which my husband is not too fond of the fact that I put nice fabric panels on the sides of his desk. Wait until he finds out what my next plan of action is. Something to do with antiquing mirror squares and slapping them all in that little cove. Hope it works.
Secondly I just bought a zoo pass and wished that I would see things there that resembled the below...love that little girls room that I found via My Notting Hill.
Lastly I really appreiate subjects hair on the right. I do have to say she might be the reason I would chop my hair off.

Love the "man Cave"! A man's space is never really his own. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCarey Mulligan and Keira Knightley are two of my favorite British actresses!!! Have you seen "An Education"? Or "The Duchess"! OMG...they make me sigh.

I am about to do attempt an antiqued mirror project as well! Where in the world do you get them...without going through a decorator??

Her hair does look lovely, however, your hair is amazingly beautiful! If I had your locks I would not chop it off ; )
ReplyDeleteoh! i have been trying to talk a client of mine into doing an alcove in her den with antiqued mirrors. she's not convinced, but i would love to see your project when it is done. i tried doing some research on antiquing mirrors online, and it looks a little freaky--involving some weird and expensive chemicals. i also found some youtube videos from a company that makes mirror panels from glass--they turn out really pretty...similar to antiqued glass.
ReplyDeleteanyway, i DID have a great time with my friend in vegas! thanks for checking in on me. hope all is well.
:)
love that man cave it all it's luscious fabric! but i don't think luscious is a word for a man cave. at least it wouldn't be for my husband. carhartt t-shirt curtains would do for him. ha! ;)
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see the mirror project! are you going to use the spray paint? i saw the best old mirror one time at a yard sale. still kicking myself that i never bought it. WHAT was i thinking???
it's fun to see where people blog from. also, now i want to chop my hair off too - SO cute. and those great outfits!
ReplyDeletei loved chatting with you yesterday. looking forward to our upcoming adventure.
look at subject's shoes with the red in the heel!
ReplyDeleteLove your man cave--would be so pretty with antiqued mirror tiles.
Great hair, but what is her outfit all about? Time for a new stylist.

ReplyDeleteyeah, Keira so copied me and my hair...but may I be so bold to say DON'T cut your hair? Good heavens, it's gorgeous!
Oh, and your post with all the room options: please find an article with a freestanding fireplace and an off-centered window and long blank walls that shows options for me, please. :) Still struggling with my room, aghhhhh!
Oh that "man cave" is super fun. I love the drapes on either side.
ReplyDeletedon't you dare cut that wig--i love it!
ReplyDeletei just spent a bit perusing your last posts and i miss your blog so much! i'm trying to figure out who the mom is in the photos from BC, and the photos of your little boy sleeping are so cute! love it, and excited for the man cave.
