It happened.
Hello friends.
It happened.
Has it happened to you as well?
You know, the first kids being shipped off to the real world called Kindergarten.
If things keep up @ this pace the girls will probably be getting married tommorrow. Ok not really but that is sort of what it felt like yesterday because time has already flown by. Kind of pulled at my heart strings.
I had to keep remembering back to when I went to school and how excited I would get.....that helped to ease my nerves. This is all about the girls so I would be holding myself back if I stayed all sad for more than a day. So life is good but I need to excuse myself from blogging for a bit.
See you soon.
P.S. - The girls go to a school with a stict dress code and I already want to break all of the rules.
P.S.S. - Been working on a couple projects that I can't wait to share.
it is a little hard to let go sometimes...i was excited for all my kids to experience something new, but a little sad that they had this whole new life that i was not a part of!
ReplyDeleteyour girls look absolutely darling sitting there on the piano bench!
enjoy your break.
:)
oh, and i meant to tell you that you are my HERO for taking 5 kids to church by yourself!
do they give awards for that?!
they should...
It was a long time ago that our first born went to kindergarten (he's now engaged to be married and in 3rd year university), but I remember it well. My husband was all doom and gloom telling me that his days of happiness were over. We all pulled through though, as will you. You just might get used to the quieter house.
ReplyDeleteYour girls are gorgeous! I have a set of 17 month old boy/girl twins I tear up just thinking about this day for us. SNIFF, SNIFF!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!! I, too, have a full house ... just all girls. BUT OH MY! You pull it off so much more glamorously than I do:). You are an inspiration and quite witty, I might add. In regards to your jackpot comment ... I've always said I need an "Alice."

They are the best dressed kids in school! I love those little peas!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to let go, isn't it? My oldest started first grade this year and my second began kindergarten. Don't you just want to hold them in your pocket and protect them forever? Hope you are having a great summer.

It is hard to hold back those tears for the sake of them your right. So many mothers send them off and shout "hooray!". I get weepy-my tears flow secretly. Kindergarden is really a wonderful stage and place and you will enjoy this year.
