I am really enjoying my above vintage yellow shoes that I paid a whopping $2.00 for.
Ahh good old sunny yellow.
So fun.
So bright.
So cheery.

When I was in high school I took the personality color test. 50% yellow was I.
Anybody else take that test?

  2. LOVE the shoes.
    Never have taken the test.
LOVE the yellow doors. It's inspiring ideas for my laundry room makeover that we'll get to one of these days. (We have a 1/2 bath that I would like to add a shower in, that is in the laundry room/garage entry area off our kitchen. I told my husband I was going to knock the wall down while he was at work to help speed up the process. Let's just say his eyes got wide and worried :-)
    Loving the yellow....

  4. What a score on those mary-janes. And I do covet that butterfly belt...superfly. :)

I've been slowly incorporating yellow in my guest bedroom. Just trying to figure it all out--but it makes me so happy. Don't we all need a little bit more cheer?

This is a 100% cheery post!

  10. I will e-mail you my address so you can forward your shoes and scarf immediately. I. heart. yellow. I STILL mourn my beloved yellow Beetle Daisy that I sold when I was in the hospital on bedrest with The Trips. Sigh.

  14. Thanks for the shot of yellow. Your vintage shoes are so fine. Love the yellow door.
I have yellow accents in my living room in the form of two Mecox ceramic stools in front of my coffee table. It helps me face the morning with a positive outlook.

  25. I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. The shades of yellow in this post are absolutely beautiful. Could you include this yellow color layering in a window covering? It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.
