When I think of babies, I think of white. Oh the freshness. I'm thinking that is one beautiful baby shower that was thrown.

In theory white is my very most favorite un-color. I love it for its classic fresh clean beautifulness.

Unfortunately it will have to remain a theory in our home. Fortunately though I have 5 beaming, innocent, happy and glowing little children...who happen to have dirty and greasy hands. Did you know buttery popcorn hands on funiture is a no go. They love popcorn so much and request it every afternoon as a snack.....They also make my heart feel so warm that it may even burst into a big white puff ball with butter on top of it...they've got the whole melting thing mastered.

making yogurt

It worked, it really worked.

If anybody has had the thought rolling around in their head,
"Hmmm, I sure would like to make my own yogurt today", then I would say
just do it.
It was rather easy & I liked how I had control of what & how to sweeten
it with.
I gave the kids 2 options of either using honey or pure maple syrup.
Honey it was, with a bit of vanilla and fresh strawberries.

Anybody else have any tips on making their own yogurt?

P.S. - The above yogurt maker is really old and was given to me from the MIL.

I have such a split personality. The best way to illustrate this would be to point out the movie The Holiday. Remember that awesome house in Los Angeles and then that very charming house in the countryside in England? The older I get the more I find my thoughts split and often find myself dreaming of a cottage on the countryside. A very comfortable place where there is space to run around outside. A place to grow my own very large garden. A place to build memories through work, play and cooking many meals from scratch. I still want to be able to travel so I think most animals would have to be out of the question because who is going to take care of them when we leave..

Anybody else share this same dream?
