I blogged about Eric Cohler a couple of days ago so when I came across this spread on the House Beautiful site and loved it, I of course had to post the pictures. I love that headboard covered in Quadrille fabric & the stainless steel lined on the bottom of the kitchen cabinets.

Happy Memorial Day weekend!

Kendall Wilkinson

I read about The Talent with Kendall Wilkinson on 1st Dibs & I went over to her design website and came across a few very bold and powerful images. Kind of made me want to go and paint a tree with some birds...ha! Do you like that acrylic headboard?

Fearless use of color I say.
I'm thinking that tomorrow I need some colorless calm rooms.

I am finding the above fun bright little girls room so completely
inspiring. I posted about this house a bit ago that made me
so giddy...no wonder I loved the above because both spaces come
from the same mastermind.

Above photos via Martensen Jones Interiors.

Lots of posts because I have so much that I need to get out there as my
desktop and bookmarks are jam packed and need to be purged. Hope you
don't mind:-)

Marmalade Interiors

Photobucket

Photobucket
It all started because of a comment left on my blog and when I went to comment back I found the above images. Jill decided to do a quick makeover of her tv room and titled the post from dreary to cheery and the result is anything but dreary. Anyway the above makeover caught my eye and I wanted to see more. Turns out Jill runs an interior design business called Marmalade Interiors and let me tell you that I was very excited to find even more beautiful pictures on her website. I love it when that happens...nothing better then beautiful photos related to design. Oh and if you are wondering about the pillows she uses then it's quite possible that she had them designed and sells them here. You can go and visit her blog here.

(perfect pink}

Note to self: The perfect color pink for my little girls bedroom exists in the top two images.
Take pink velvet flower pin that she wore to church today and have it color matched.

{local talent}

I am dying over this beautifully designed home and talent given by Caroline DeCesare. Her office practically resides down the street from where I live. In fact I need to take a little field trip down there to be inspired, AGAIN. I think she has skills and so did Western Interiors when they featured the above work last year before they turned into that silly Luxe magazine.

She also has a very talented sister who happens to be a very creative and amazing photographer. Found here.

That's it for now. Have a good day. I know I will because I am off to go eat protein pancakes with a dear friend who is taking me out for my birthday. I'll let you know how it goes.

Brad Ford

Named by Traditional Home as one of the top 20 designers to watch, Brad Ford is watch worthy. Head over to his portfolio to see more great photos. I love the way he works with so many natural & raw elements such as plants and wood, all infused into his refined style. I think I need a woodem stump now.
