My heart did a little pitter-patter when I came across images taken
by Jeffrey Alan Marks for a restaurant named Tavern in the L.A. area..
Brentwood to be exact.
The colors are perfection. It is a good mix of modern/classic and
it is neither too masculine nor feminine. Plus the food looked
really good...BONUS. Many of the elements remind me swatches I have been
saving on an inspiration board so now I am feeling pretty good that I
have cataloged these images.

This place is amazing. When I read the name "Tavern" it makes me think of a hole in the wall bar. (There are a few places in my hometown and here where I currently live with the title "Tavern") However in seeing these images I have a new vision of what a Tavern should be. Beautiful!
Beautiful!

Mmm, I'd love to grab coffee and a scone on that beautiful yellow bench! What a gorgeous place.
it is gorgeous!!!
this is so pretty. i like that the good food is, for you and for me as well, merely a "bonus" — it's the showstopping decor that really counts.
Amazing!
The spa is a perfect place to go when one is without kids! What a fun vacation you have planned! I would love to meet up with you!

GORGEOUS!! Totally looks like you!
I have seen these before and these are gorgeous. I love the contrast of the bar with that upholstery. It's amazing.
I'll meet you there Friday night.
Bring the kiddos--we'll exchange vitamix recipes, and laughs.
Those colors are so beautiful - simply, elegant...

Good Morning! Just saw your blog mentioned in the Republic...so glad I checked it out...love it!!!
I live just down the street from this place. My husband and I had brunch there this morning for the first time. It is to die for! So charming and such yummy food. The funny thing is...it used to be a Hamburger Hamlet. They did wonders redoing it!
